Compactación de terreno.

Para el proceso de compactación, se requirió de gente trabajando tanto en la recolección de tierra blanda como gente regando y compactando la tierra al nivel requerido. El fin de la compactación es el de incrementar la resistencia y disminuir la compresibilidad, la permeabilidad y la erosionabilidad de agua del mismo, esto aumentando la densidad del suelo. El terreno a compactar era de alrededor de 12 metros cuadrados. Mientras dos personas realizaban el trabajo de utilizar la pala para levantar la tierra y llevarla en la carretilla, otras dos se encargaban de regar el terreno y utilizar el rastrillo metálico para alinear la tierra poco a poco. Una vez suficiente había suficiente tierra en el terreno y ya humedecida, se comenzó a compactar con el pisón de mano. Había que tomar las medidas necesarias tales como la de no permitir que se hicieran charcos en la superficie, y cuidar que a la hora de compactar no quedara basura entre la misma tierra. Había que cuidar que las esquinas quedaran de igual manera bien compactadas para evitar problemas con el la mezcla más adelante. 

Soil Compaction

For the compaction process it was required of people working both in the collection of soft earth as people watering and compacting the soil to the required level. The purpose of compaction is to increase strength and reduce compressibility, permeability and water erosion of it, this increasing soil density. The compact ground was about 12 square meters. While two persons were making the work of using the shovel to move the earth and carry on the truck, two others were in charge of watering the field and use the metal rake to align the earth gradually. Once enough was enough land on the ground and moistened, it began to be compacted with hand tamper. We had to take steps such as not allowing creating puddles on the surface, and taking care that by the time we were compacting, trying to take away all the trash from the surface. We had to watch that the corners were equally well compacted to prevent problems with the mix later on the process. 




CONCLUSIÓN
En la parte de la compactación, se realizó un buen trabajo gracias a que se distribuyó de buena manera la mano de obra, y a que la tierra utilizada estaba en buenas condiciones. La compactación del terreno es fundamental para el desarrollo de un firme más adelante, de ahí dependerá mucho la resistencia que este pueda llegar a alcanzar por lo que se hizo un trabajo con mucho cuidado, sobre todo en las esquinas de cada terreno, verificando que el terreno obtuviera la altura necesitada. Además el terreno estuvo limpio en todo momento, ya que se prohibió que se acercara cualquier tipo de basura a la parte donde se compactaba.

CONCLUSION
On the compaction, we made a successful job because it was distributed in a good way labor and land used was in good condition. Soil compaction is essential for the development of a firm below; hence the resistance will depend very much that it can be as high as work was done very carefully, especially in the corners of each plot, verifying that we were obtaining the needed height field. Besides the ground was clean at all times, since it banned from approaching any garbage to the part where it was compacted.
